The MiniLoop® is
a specially
designed and patented induction loop system shown by consumer
research to make
conversations with hearing aid wearers (whether customers or
staff) easier and
more relaxed. The Harness MiniLoop® is a wearable version
for staff who may
speak to hearing aid wearers at any time during the day.

Ease of Use
The control box (14cm x 7cm x 3cm) fits within
a pouch and clips to
the belt. The harness and small tie clip microphone are
connected to the side of
the unit. In addition to the On/Off switch, a second switch increases the
transmission distance from 3ft to 5ft.
Battery
Lasts for approximately
8 hours
and can be re-charged at any time. It re-charges in around
2 hours and lasts for
approximately 13 years at one re-charge per day.
Uniform Styles
The Waistcoat
MiniLoop® can be fitted into any uniform jacket or waistcoat.
The waistcoat is
washable and special badges can be provided to identify the member of
staff to
customers.
Staff Training Programmes
Training has been shown by consumer
research amongst hard of hearing
customers to be as important as the MiniLoop® equipment itself.
We provide
specially developed staff training together with product familiarisation,
through our Hearing Friendly® Training programmes. Training is
provided locally
on the day of installation and can also be provided to organizations
on a
regional basis. Programmes for training managers to cascade to staff
are also
available.
Trial Periods
Monitored test installations can be arranged
to develop
a clear understanding of the benefits to staff and customers.
