The
Intercall 600 system is the best selling nursecall system in the UK and
has recently earned itself the privilege of being the only range of
nursecall systems recommended by the National Care Home Association.
This non-speech system boasts numerous
features all designed to make it user friendly for both staff and
patients alike. With five levels of call, programmable text, staff
present mode, call logging and the ability to have up to 215 call
points on the system, it is no wonder that the Intercall 600 out
performs the competition. Installation is made simple with a two-wire
system that can be fitted on existing wiring, reducing installation
costs.
L622
STANDARD CALL POINT
A call point is required for every individual call location on the
system. It features five levels of call, multi-colour re-assurance LED
& ‘call follower’ sounder. The industry standard jack
socket will accept pear leads, pressure mats, portable radio triggers
and a host of other triggering devices. Options which must be specified
when ordering include: magnetic key reset (L622M), emergency call only
& non-latching call point for telephone ring detectors etc.
L628/L618 LCD DISPLAY UNITS
A display unit is required in every location where calls are to be
shown and the alarm is to sound. It features LCD display with
backlight, multi-level adjustable alarm, day/night volume control,
‘priority’ alarm tone for specific call locations,
configuration menus and an output which can be connected to trigger
external equipment. All displays work identically but can be configured
on site to operate independently. The L628 Large Style Display Unit
illustrated, operates in the same way as the L618 Standard Display Unit
but features 30% larger LCD mounted in Intercall style housing.
L722DK
DOOR MONITORING POINT
The L722DK Door Monitoring Point can be used to protect fire doors,
exit doors and other sensitive areas. The unit is physically identical
to the L622 Call Point, but with an isolated key-switch in place of the
jack socket. This is used by authorized personnel to isolate the unit
and prevent it from activating the alarm. The L722DK activates an
“Emergency” call as standard and can be reset with a single
press of the reset button.
SCP
SLAVE CALL POINT
Slave call points are used to cover several beds in one room or ward
where each individual bed does not require a separate identity on the
call system. Units must be wired back to a standard call point to
provide the reset and to generate the call identity. Slave Call Points
can only generate a “standard patient call” from either the
call button or pear lead socket.
L746 OVERDOOR LIGHT
Overdoor
lights are an optional item normally positioned above the door in a
corridor to indicate the status of the call point(s) within the room.
The L746 can also be used to monitor several call point addresses for
end of corridor indication, or as a “follow me” light. Each
unit is fitted with twin ultra-bright LED’s which mimic the
reassurance indicator on the call points. The L746S unit operates in
the same way as the standard overdoor light but has the addition of an
integral sounder.
L714 REMOTE SOUNDER WITH
RELAY
Remote sounders are used in areas where an audible alarm is required to
attract attention but no indication of call location is required. The
sounder is similar in operation to a display unit with a multi level
alarm, but has limited zoning facilities. Any assistance or emergency
call on the system will over-ride the standard call tone. The unit is
fitted with a relay that provides normally open and normally closed
‘dry’ contacts, which can be used to trigger auxiliary
devices.
CS1
CEILING PULL SWITCH
The ceiling pull switch can be used to allow access to the system from
en-suite rooms and bathrooms/toilets. It is mounted to the ceiling and
had a long cord with a ‘g’ loop on the end, which can be
pulled to generate a call. The unit has two integral reassurance
LED’s, to confirm a call has been successfully generated.
L617 & L737 POWER SUPPLY
The
L617 Power Supply provides the main power to the system. It requires a
mains supply connection and it houses the backup battery, required to
safeguard the system in the event of a mains failure. The power supply
stores all the text programming information and can also be used to
configure the system when a laptop is connected. The L737 Booster Power
Supply unit is designed to increase the permitted number of units and
quantity of cable allowed on any one system. It works by re-producing
the signals made by the power supply, and several booster units may be
connected as required.
PRINTERS AND
ALPHANUMERIC PAGERS
Printers and alphanumeric pagers can be connected to the system with
the L747 Universal Interface. The printer provides a permanent printed
record of all system activity together with date and time. Pagers can
be configured to display calls made on the system as they would appear
on the display unit. This allows staff to carry on with their work
without having to worry about missing calls. Pagers can also be
specially configured to only receive certain calls, or calls at certain
times of the day.
CMS LITE CALL
MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
The CMS Lite Call Management Software allows you to record and store
all Intercall system activity on your personal computer. Giving you
immediate access to information, it is easy to access the call history
of a resident, keeping you in charge of your home. Staff pagers can
also be controlled from your computer, allowing free text messages to
be sent to individual pagers.
TIR4
INFRA RED TRIGGER
The TIR4 allows calls to be made from any location covered by the
system. It operates by triggering the local IR call point when the
button is pressed, allowing the exact location of the resident to be
displayed. The TIR4 trigger requires the use of L722 Call Points which
have built in Infra Red receivers, to trigger the system.
